Conference on Religion and Conflict Prevention, Peace Building and Reconciliation in Eastern Africa



This conference brought together high profile Christian and Muslim
leaders to deliberate on how to prevent conflicts between adherents
of the two religions and how leaders of the two religions can work
together to mitigate conflicts and build peace and reconciliation
in Eastern Africa. The conference took place in Dar es Salaam,
Tanzania from 1st to 5th September 2008.
