Following the successful conference held in Kaduna, Nigeria, religious leaders, Christians and Muslims together, produced a communiqé which reflected on the main issues that were deliberated at the conference. The statement emphasized on their aspirations and commitment to ensure that there is peace, cooperation and collaboration with each other and with the government for the unity among Nigerians. This decision was based on respect of principles which in the long term and short will ensure that regions and countries mitigate violent conflicts between Christians and Muslims.
