PROCMURA's Principle of Christian Witness| The PROCMURA’s principle of faithful Christian witness that respects the spirit of good neighbourliness is core to the women training programmes. It is a well-known fact that Christianity and Islam as missionary religions are enjoined to speak about their respective faiths to the wider society and among or between themselves. For PROCMURA, therefore, the question is not whether or not one has to witness to his or her faith but how to do it in a manner that respects the spirit of good neighbourliness. To this end the women are taught to speak about their faith with respect to the other, take their context seriously and be faithful in their faith. There should be no room for polemics or provocation when talking about faith. |
